Version 1.4 + New Soundfiles

Here it is, version 1.4 of my soundboard. Now there is a search- and filterfunction, so you can easily find a specific soundfile.

And this search- and filterfunction is really necessary because at the moment there are over 1300 soundfiles. There are already soundfiles from episode 1 and 2 from season 2, so you already have the great soundfiles from Discord, Flutterbitch, Applelie, etc.

There is only one download with the exe and the soundfiles because I added ID3-Tags to all soundfiles, so you can use the filter function. A download with the updated program only would be needless because you have to replace the old soundfiles anyway if you want to use the new functions.

Edit: I realized that I forgot some soundfiles. I will upload them in the next few days.

Edit2: There was a problem with the soundfiles if you add them to the favourites. If there are two soundfiles with the same name (like "Are you okay" from Twilight and Fluttershy) then the program copied the false soundfile. I changed the system, how the favourite-system works but I'm not very happy with the solution. I have to rework the favourite-system in the future.

A small Update

In the last few days I searched for new soundfiles and now I have over 1.200 soundfiles! That's a huge amount and propably there will be over 2.000 with the soundfiles of season 2.

Of course I realized that there will be a problem to find a certain soundfile, so i decided to work on a new version of the Soundboard with a a search- and filter-function. That also means that you have to wait longer for a version for Linux and Mac but I will work as fast as I can.

The update should come very soon and will also come with the new soundfiles.

Version 1.3

I finished the next version of the Soundboard. In 1.3 I improved the random function. You can now play a random soundfile of a certain character. Just assign a key in Files -> Options. I also added a stop button and you can assign a key in the options too.

If you add a soundfile a new window opens and asks you to restart the application, so you can use the soundfiles without an error.

I had a lot of ideas for 1.3 but sadly I haven't enough time to add them. I don't know if I find the time to realize my ideas sometimes later but now I will focus on a Linux- and Mac - Version of the soundboard.


I will also upload more soundfiles from the episodes 16-26 as soon as possible.

The update only download only contains the MLP_Soundboard.exe so if you already have download 1.2 you don't have to download all the soundfiles again. Just replace the old exe with the new one and be sure you also copy the options.opt file.
