Running the programm
To run the soundboard, simply extract the downloaded file. Make sure that the .exe, ,dlls and the folders are in the same folder, like this:
Add favorites
To add a soundfile to the favorites, just right-click on one and click "Add to favorites". You will find the added sound in the "Favorites"-Tab.
Assign Shortcuts
You can assign a Shortcut (like F1, F2, etc.) to your favorite soundfiles and you are able to play those sounds, while the program is in the background (as example, if you are ingame).
You also can assign a shortcut to play a random soundfile or a random soundfile from a specific character. You also can set a key to stop the soundfiles. Just click on "File" -> "Options":
Add custom soundfiles
You can add our own soundfiles by clicking "File" -> "Add Soundfiles". Supported files are .mp3 and .wav
After you add the selected soundfiles a new window opens and ask if you want to restart. This is nescessary to make the soundfiles available. Of course you can say "No" and restart later.
Search- and Filterfunction
You can click on to open the search- and filterfunction, to search a certain soundfile.
Skype connection
You can connect the soundboard to Skype and send the soundfiles to all members in a conversation. Just click on "Connect" -> "To Skype". You will see the connections status in the statusbar at the bottom of the program. After you clicked on connect you have to accept the program in Skype:
This message should only appear if you connect the program for the first time.
Please remeber: You have to connect the soundboard before you start a conversation, otherwise the soundfiles don't work in Skype.
Using other VoIP - Programs
In the options you can choose the output of the program. If you have a Virtual Audio Cable (like this one: http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm) you can use the program with nearly every other VoIP-Software. Just install the latest Version of the VAC and you will have a virtual audio cable which can be used as output:
Now you have to open the audio repeater which is part of the VAC and set your microphone as "Wave In" and "Line 1" as "Wave Out". Than you can click on "Start". I use the "Audio Repeater (MME)". If that's not working for you try "Audio Repeater (KS)" instead.
Now you just use "Line 1" instead of your standard microphone in your VoIP-Program. At the moment only the other people will hear the sounds. If you also want to hear the sounds click on "Multichannel" in the options of the soundboard and choose another output (like your earphones, or loudspeaker).
Unfortunately the trial version of the VAC will periodically play a "Trial"-soundfile, so you have to buy the full version or find a similar program.
